The Scared Violence
My practice focuses on creating visual narratives that explore on the conflict between individual happiness and expectation of society. Inspired by scapegoating scapegoating mechanism, The Sacred Violence used goat as metaphor to reflect on human relationship and behavior .

I attempt to open discussion on how society norms manipulate the appreciation and depreciation of self. The experiences of being bullied that caused the victim’s to feel insecure and restrict themselves to fit in with society’s criteria. The wound on the lamb represent the pain that the victim has to endure. The painting What do you fear ? features a goat carcasses hanging with drip. The painting highlight our destructive drive and our fear of death . Although we are educated not to gain pleasure through killing, violence and warfare, I always find flesh, death and even the carcasses that hang in butchers’ shops beautiful. They are powerful and offer visual gratification. The depiction of carcass express the suppression of instincts that derive from personal narrative..
Self- repressing is one of the key concepts in From Inside. The painting embody human needs for social relationship and the fear of violence from society which form as the fundamental of collective society. It led us to question how human being deals with their individual needs within the complexity of social system and the relationship between individual and collective..
